Tuition and fees are supplemented by two annual fund raising events, each with a proven track record. All money raised from these events go to OCA's General Fund. These fundraising events are the Magazine Sales Drive that takes place shortly after school starts. There is a "Walk-A-Thon" in spring.
In August, our annual "Magazine Sales" Drive begins.
In December, the high school band has their annual holiday dinner before the elementary Christmas program.
This raises money for their band tour.
In February, the booster club has their annual "Red Wheel Fundraiser", this supplements the athletic and the performing arts programs.
In April, a Walk-A-Thon will take place to raise more money for OCA.
Ongoing through the year, there are several things you can do to earn some extra money for the school. Save "Campbell's Labels for Education", Hy-Vee receipts, save "Our Family" labels (UPC's), and save "Box Tops for Education". There are collection boxes for these items in the hallway by the office!
